Summary In spite of evidence being presented against Zulfiqar Mirza, no case is being filed: Taj Haider
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Applications have been filed against Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) stalwarts Zulfiqar Mirza and Fehmida Mirza in Election Commission.
As per applicants Taj Haider and Nafeesa Shah, the PPP leaders had disrupted law and order situation during local body elections. As per applicants, Zulfiqar Mirza had threatened to target 100 people before and said that the latter was threatening to do so once again.
The applicants plead in their application that Zulfiqar and Fehmida Mirza had violated rules of Election Commission by participating in election campaign as members of National Assembly cannot take part in such activities.
Talking to media, Taj Haider said that in spite of evidence being presented against Zulfiqar Mirza, no case is being filed.
