Summary Kapil Dev, Imran Khan interview spread smiles on faces amid tense Pakistan, India situation
LAHORE: (Web Desk) – Former Indian great Kapil Dev and Pakistan’s legendary cricket captain Imran Khan spread smiles on the faces with light talk at TV show in India amid tense Pakistan-India situation, reported Dunya News.
Admitting Imran Khan as his guru, Kapil Dev confessed that he cared about female fans, making everyone in the hall laugh out loud. Pakistan and India are traditional rivals but this small talk spread smiles at all the faces and released some tension too.
Imran and Kapil freely commented on their juniors and seniors. “I haven’t played with Sir Don Bradman but I haven’t seen anyone batting like the West Indian great Sir Garry Sobers”, said Imran. Troubling everyone with his fast bowling during his career, Imran Khan revealed that he himself was a fan of West Indian fast bowler Michael Holding.
It is interesting to note though that the centurion of centuries Sachin Tendulkar failed to impress Imran Khan.
