LAHORE (Web Desk) – An election tribunal in Lahore on Friday accepted Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) candidate Aleem Khan’s plea against result of NA-122 by-election, Dunya News reported.

The tribunal has directed PML-N’s winning candidate Ayaz Sadiq to submit reply till December 22.

The plea submitted by Aleem Khan on November 26 demands to annul the NA-122 by-election as it was unfair due to alleged transfer of votes from the constituency.


AYAZ SADIQ RETAINS SEAT


After winning the by-election held on October 11 this year, Ayaz Sadiq took oath as Speaker of the National Assembly for the second time on November 9.

Ayaz Sadiq and Shafqat Mahmood of PTI were the two contenders for the seat of Speaker National Assembly.
