Summary Civil-mil leadership on same page, govt to uproot terrorism, CM Shahbaz tells overseas Pakistanis
LONDON: (Dunya News) – Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Shahbaz Sharif has on Sunday said that the government is determined to uproot terrorism. He said that the civil-military leadership is on the same page, reported Dunya News.
Talking to overseas Pakistanis in London, Shahbaz Sharif said that Pakistan’s economy has improved a lot due to government’s policies. He said that the government has been trying to save state money since 2008. “I have been using the same car since 2008. This is the only car I have been using since then”, he said.
Punjab CM said that country’s civil-military leadership is on the same page and the government is determined to uproot terrorism.
“Operation Zarb-e-Azb is going on with great success and country will soon be rid of terrorism”, said Shahbaz Sharif.
Praising Britain, Shahbaz Sharif said that the cooperation by United Kingdom (UK) is exemplary in the fields of education, health and security.
