Summary Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) and Airport Security Force (ASF) were called for assistance.
PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – A private airline plane at Peshawar’s Bacha Khan International Airport was evacuated because of a bomb threat today (Monday).
The Dubai-bound flight was ready to take off when airport authorities received information on the phone that a bomb has been placed in the plane.
The authorities responding immediately off loaded all the passengers and the luggage and initiated search to find the explosives.
Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) and Airport Security Force (ASF) were also called for assistance.
The flight was to leave for Dubai at 2:30 pm however; it is still being thoroughly searched on the runway.
Several bomb threats have also been made earlier at various airports around the world after the deadly November 13 attacks in Paris that killed atleast 129 people, in wake of which security has been beefed up.
However, this is the first bomb threat made on a Pakistani flight.
