KHYBER AGENCY (Dunya News) – At least four people including a woman sustained injuries in two separate blasts in Khyber Agency today (Wednesday).
In a very first incident, a son hurled hand grenade at his house in Landi Kotal over a minor domestic dispute. The explosion left father and mother injured who were taken to the Landi Kotal hospital for medication.
Separately in Tirah Valley’s Naray Baba, an explosion was heard near the check post of peace organization that wounded as many as two volunteers. The victims were shifted to Peshawar Hospital for medical assistance.
According to security officers, both incidents were taken place in the remote areas of Khyber Agency however, a search operation has been launched to nab the culprits.
Earlier, Spokesman to Pakistan Army Major General Asim Saleem Bajwa stated that action against extremists in Khyber Agency has been finished whereas the army is also ardent in completing operation Zarb-e-Azb as early as possible.

In an interview with the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC), he said that first phase of operation against militants in North Waziristan has also been completed and vowed to clear Shawaal from the possession of terrorists as soon as possible.
Responding to a question related to Zarb-e-Azb, Asim Bajwa reiterated to continue the operation till the elimination of last militant from the area. He said that Pakistan Army also wants to finish Zarb-e-Azb at its earliest and told the media that the operation has claimed lives of several criminals and terrorists.
