Summary PTI leader has written letter to Interior Minister to get permission to keep licensed weapons
LAHORE: (Dunya News) – Former Punjab Governor, and Punjab Organizer Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Chaudhry Sarwar has on Monday demanded permission to keep licensed weapons with him. The PTI leader wrote to Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, asking him for permission to keep licensed weapons due to security concerns, reported Dunya News.
In his letter to Interior Minister, Sarwar has maintained that he needs the permission to keep licensed weapons as he and his family received threats from terrorists.
He warned that the responsibility in case of any unwanted incident will lie solely with the ruling Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N). Copies of the letter have been sent to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif, Secretary Interior and Home Secretary Punjab.
