Kashmiris clash with Indian forces over youth's killing in Srinagar

Summary Clashes between protesters and Indian paramilitary personnel occurred in Srinagar.

SRINAGAR (Web Desk) - People in Indian Occupied Kashmir staged anti-India demonstrations in different area of Srinagar city against the cold-blooded murder of a student by Indian troops.

Clashes between protesters and Indian paramilitary personnel occurred in Nowhatta, Rajouri Kadal and Gojwara areas of the city.

On the other hand, scores of students of the Kashmir University held a rally in the campus against the brutal killing of the student. They raised anti-India slogans.

Meanwhile, the Indian forces authorities continued to detain Hurriyet leaders and activists including Syed Ali Gilani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, Muhammad Yasin Malik, Shabbir Ahmad Shah and other members in their houses or police stations to stop them from leading the demonstrations against the murder of the student.

On the other hand, women Hurriyet leader, Aasiya Andrabi, Fareeda Bahenji, Fahmeeda Sofi and Nahida Nasreen along with thirty five women activists have been detained at Rambagh Police Station in Srinagar. 


Victim Gowher Dar was an energetic and brilliant student and also a good sportsman.


Kashmiri leaders are demanding an impartial probe into the killing to punish the involved troops.
