MULTAN (Dunya News) – The workers of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Multan, including females, on Tuesday demonstrated a sit-in outside the residence of PTI s National Organizer, Shah Mehmood Qureshi against the injustice in the process of ticket distribution for Local Body (LB) polls. The angry workers demanded Shah Mehmood to resign from the position of National Organizer, reported Dunya News.

The voting for the second round of the polls will be held on 5th of December, 2015 but the workers of PTI are not happy with the distribution of party tickets. The protesting workers blocked the road for traffic and chanted slogans against Shah Mehmood Qureshi. Some female workers lied down on the road to highlight their protest.

Talking to media, the protestors said that they learned this way of protest, against injustice, from their leader Imran Khan. They also said that Shah Mehmood is promoting family politics in Multan instead of awarding tickets on merit.
