KARACHI (Dunya News) – A landslide hit huts in Gulistan Johar Block-1 area of Karachi on early Tuesday morning, killing at least 11 people including three women and four children.
Rescue teams reached the spot and recovered nine dead bodies while it is feared that more people are still trapped under the rubble. Commissioner Karachi Shoaib Siddiqui also reached the spot to supervise the rescue operation.
Rangers, Rescue 1122 and KMC officials are taking part in the rescue operation which is still underway.
