ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Chief of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan on Wednesday has left for Lahore on a two-day visit to launch NA-122 by-election campaign.
According to party sources, PTI chairman would meet senior leadership and would also finalize election strategy. He will also inaugurate election cell in PP-148 constituency.
Khan has directed the party workers to be united to participate in NA-122 election campaign.
Talking to media before his departure, the PTI chief vowed to give tough time to the ruling party. He expressed hope that his party will defeat N-League umpires in NA-122 by-election.
The by-election in NA-122 is scheduled to be held on October 11. PTI has fielded Aleem Khan as its candidate whereas Ayaz Sadiq is PML-N candidate in the constituency.
