KARACHI: (Dunya News) – Jinnah Hospital’s agitating paramedical staff has on Thursday divided into 2 groups on the issue of calling off the protest. One of the groups ended the strike while the other one announced to continue the protest till the issuance of the notification of health allowance, reported Dunya News.
According to details, paramedical staff of the Jinnah Hospital continued their protest on the fourth day for health allowance and raised slogans against the administration. The staff held the government responsible for the problems faced by the patients and their relatives due to their strike. They said that they are equally helpless.
The patients suffered a lot due to paramedical staff’s strike. They said that neither the government nor the paramedical staff is worried about the poor patients. In the negotiations between the protesters and the administration on the fourth day Secretary Health assured of accepting the demands, upon which the paramedical staff called off the strike but one group of the protesters remained adamant and said that they will continue their strike till the issuance of the notification.
