Summary Nandipur project is a failure of government: Chairman Standing committee
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) -- Senate Standing Committee for Finance ordered an audit of the Nandipur power project on Monday. Chairman Committee Saleem Mandviwala said that Nandipur project is a failure of government and will highlighted as such, reported Dunya News.
Senator Saleem Mandviwala said that investigation of alleged corruption in Nandipur power project will be done and a financial audit will be conducted. To review the cost of project, at the next meeting of the committee the heads of Water and Power Ministry and Ministry of Finance have been summoned.
Saleem Mandviwala Nandipur said that the failure of the project speaks of incompetence of government. The issue will also be discussed in the Senate.
