LAHORE/KARACHI (Dunya News) – Livestock department in Lahore recovered atleast 400kg unhygienic meat and arrested as many as four suspects today (Sunday).
The operation was conducted on a tip off in the areas of Duban Pura and Canal view where the livestock authorities seized the illegal slaughter houses and confiscated substandard meat.
On the other hand, a team headed by Assistant Commisioner District West Riaz Mustafa in Karachi raided illegal slaughter houses in the area of Baldia Town and detained atleast two butchers and recovered 20kg unwholesome meat.
However, many other butchers escaped from the scene on the arrival of raiding team.
