Summary 400 Megawatts of electricity were to be produced but not even a single megawatt has been made
PPP submitted adjournment motion in the National Assembly on Nandipur project on Friday, reported Dunya News.
Party members of the National Assembly including Shazia Marri, Nafisa Shah, Imran Leghari and others submitted adjournment motion of the Nandipur project to the National Assembly Secretariat.
The motion stated that irregularities of billions of rupees have been reported in Nandipur power project. It stated that that 400 Megawatts of electricity were to be produced but not even a single megawatt has been made. Action should be taken against those responsible for negligence, stated the text of the resolution. The resolution stated that the matter should be debated in the National Assembly.
