Summary Dunya News salutes Jawans including martyrs who successfully defended Pakistan in 1965 war
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistanis across the country observed 50 years of successfully defending the country in 1965 war with patriotism and national zeal here on Sunday, Dunya News reported.
Dignified ceremonies, events and rallies across the country paid rich tributes to the martyrs and victors of the historic 1965 war when Pakistan successfully defended its territory against infiltrating India that attacked in the wee hours.
The golden jubilee was celebrated across the country and general mood is of excitement and determination to defend the country against all enemies.
Special events were held on mausoleums and memorial sites of martyrs. All major cities including all four provincial capitals organized exhibition of weapons used in the warfare.
Pakistan Army also presented splendid demonstrations and commandos’ para-trooping won people’s hearts.
