Summary Director General (DG) Rangers Major General Umar Farooq Barki was the chief guest in the ceremony.

LAHORE (Dunya News) - A special ceremony in connection with Defence Day was held at Pakistan Rangers Punjab Headquarters in Lahore today (Sunday), Dunya News reported.

Director General (DG) Rangers Major General Umar Farooq Barki was the chief guest in the ceremony. He laid floral wreath on Yadgar-e-Shuhada and offered Fateha.

Addressing the ceremony, Major General Umar Farooq Barki said that 1965 war reminds of great bravery shown by the armed forces for the defence of our homeland.
