Summary He suggested Altaf Hussain not to make 'unnecessary speeches' every day
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari on Saturday said Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain’s ‘negative politics’ is harmful for MQM, adding that blaming others everyday doesn’t suit MQM’s chief.
In a statement issued by former president, it was stated that PPP has always stood by its promises made with MQM, adding that whether it’s the federation or provincial government, PPP tried to align with them.
Zardari alleged that MQM deceived PPP and broke its promises, adding that PPP has now laid down two conditions of talking with them; one is that Sindh’s division is not on the table and that MQM will help make Karachi a peaceful city.
He said their stance is quite clear even today that PPP won’t let Sindh be divided at any cost. The former president said MQM will affect itself by the ‘negative politics’.
PPP co-chairman urged MQM to join the mainstream and work for development and prosperity of Pakistan and Sindh. He suggested Altaf Hussain to avoid making unnecessary statements and addresses every day.
