Summary Brigadier (retd.) Muhammad Ahmad said that he was lucky to find such a target that cannot see him.

LAHORE (Web Desk) – Pakistan Army gave great sacrifices during the 1965 war against India. Among the brave soldiers, one was Brigadier (retd.) Muhammad Ahmad who single handedly destroyed four tanks of the enemies.

While narrating his story of valour, Brigadier (retd.) Muhammad Ahmad said that on his return from the battle field his senior colonel told him that the Indian troops are entering Pakistan through Charwah sector and directed him to push the enemies back.

Brigadier (retd.) Muhammad Ahmad left for Charwah alongwith his soldiers. When they reached the southern side of Charwah, they came to know that enemies had entered Pakistan with their tanks.

On seeing the Indian troops, Muhammad Ahmad ordered his squad to launch a strong attack on them which was followed by mighty firing and shelling.

Brigadier (retd.) Muhammad Ahmad said that he was lucky to find such a target that cannot see him.

He recalled that four Indian tanks were placed in front of him in the opposite direction whereas he was completely hidden from them.

"I thought of attacking them with all my soldiers but it could take much time," he said.

Brigadier (retd.) Muhammad Ahmad told that he alone attacked all the four tanks with heavy weapons, forcing the Indian troops to flee from the battle field.
