SAHIWAL (Dunya News) – Police on a tip off foiled an attempt of donkey slaughter in Sahiwal and apprehended as many as three suspects, Dunya News reported on Saturday.
The incident took place when a local informed the police about donkey’s slaughter bid in Sahiwal’s Railway Colony. Police officers took at least three suspects including a woman into custody.
Separately in Kasur, security personnel have recovered a truck full of donkey’s hide and arrested a suspect identified as Arshad. The hides were taking to Lahore.
Moreover, operation is underway to detain the culprits.
