FAISALABAD (Dunya News) – Traders on Wednesday have established a protest-camp at Ghanta Ghar Chowk against increased withholding tax.
The traders have called for shutter down strike on September 9.
Faisalabad traders union, Sotar Mandi and almost all leaders of cloth markets participated in the protest. The traders raised slogans against the government.
The enraged people urged colleagues to boycott bank transactions on September 4. They further termed the ongoing week, a protest week against the government.
The protesters warned of complete shutter down on September 9 in the city if the government does not withdraw the increased tax.
