Summary 116 students failed in grade 9 board exams while only 1 managed to clear the exams

MULTAN (Dunya News) – Parents of wards stormed the school and tortured the headmaster over abysmal result of grade-9 students on Monday. Out of the 117 students that took part in examination, 116 failed, reported Dunya News.

Lalpur Government High School had sent admissions of 117 students in the board exams while only 1 student became successful in his attempt to clear the papers. 116 students failed abysmally. The students are yet to make a choice whether they will appear in grade-10 board exams or leave the school this year.

The parents of the children stormed the building, took the Principal hostage and tortured him in addition to breaking school furniture. The parents shouted slogans agaisnt the school administration.

Headmaster Zafar Ali has registered a case against the persons responsible for the attack in Basti Malok police station.
