Summary Pakistan’s nuclear program is peaceful and responsible, said Spokesperson Foreign Office
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Spokesperson Foreign Office said on Friday that the news of increase in Pakistan’s nuclear stockpile is baseless. Pakistan is committed to maintaining a minimum amount of nuclear stockpile, reported Dunya News.
Reacting to a report by an American agency, Foreign Office stated that Pakistan’s nuclear program is peaceful and responsible whereas Pakistani endeavors to keep its nuclear stockpile at a minimal number.
The spokesperson said that Pakistan had given a number of suggestions regarding establishment of peace in the region but India ignored them.
Signing nuclear agreements is prelude to regional instability, said the Spokesperson.
