KARACHI (Dunya News) - Sindh Assembly session will be held today (Friday) in which the controversial statements of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain and flood situation in the province will be considered, Dunya News reported.
The meeting which has been summoned by Governor Sindh Dr Ishtraul Ebad Khan will be headed by speaker Agha Siraj Durrani.
The resolutions of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaaf (PTI), Pakistan Muslim League-Functional (PML-F) and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) against Altaf Hussain will also be discussed.
Besides this the matter of extension of Rangers stay in Karachi will be debated whereas new laws including the bill to attain Zakat will either be introduced in the house or their approval will be taken.
Moreover, PML-F member Nusrat Saher Abbasi’s attention notice on floods in the province and issues related to loadshedding and fee structure in private schools would also come under discussion.
