RAHIM YAR KHAN (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan on Monday has said that Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif does not care about the flood-affectees in far off areas.

He expressed these views while addressing flood affectees in Rojhan.

Khan said that the government did not take any measures to protect farmers from the catastrophe. He said that farmers have lost all their earnings to floods.

Imran Khan along with Jahangir Tareen and Shah Mehmood Qureshi left to visit flood-hit areas of South Punjab.

Imran Khan met and heared issues of flood affectees in Rojhan, Layyah and Dera Ghazi Khan.

Earlier, Shah Mehmood Qureshi lashed out at the federation and Punjab government and stated that the local administration has failed to assist flood victims. He said that the government of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) focuses on Metro bus instead of providing relief to the people.

PTI leader further stressed formation of strong disaster management authority to work efficiently.
