Water level in all rivers to start decreasing by Monday evening: PDMA

Summary Water level in all rivers will start decreasing by this evening, the PDMA authorities told.

PESHAWAR (Web Desk) – Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) on Monday reported that water level in all rivers will start decreasing by this evening, Dunya News reported.

According to PDMA, water level Indus River at Tarbela is currently measured at 316,600 cusecs, Kalabgh 504,052 cusecs, Chashma 618,626 cusecs and Taunsa 483,786 cusecs.

On the other hand, there is low level flooding in River Ravi at Sidhnai where water flow has been recorded at 32,487 cusecs.

There is high level flooding in River Kabul at Nowshera where water flow is 142,400 cusecs.

Other rivers including Chenab and Jhelum are flowing normal.
