ISLAMABAD: (Dunya News) – Ice between India and Pakistan has started to melt as Indian government has on Sunday suggested meeting of the national security advisors of the two countries on August 23 and 24. However, Advisor to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz said that agenda of the meeting has not yet been decided, reported Dunya News.
PM Nawaz Sharif and his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi decided during their meeting in Ufa, Russia, on July 10 to restore the talks’ process again.
According to Indian foreign Office, Advisor to PM will go to New Delhi on August 23 and will stay there for 2 days. India says that the matter mentioned in the press release issued after the meeting between the PMs of both the countries in Ufa will be brought under discussion.
Pakistani Foreign Office has said, however, that they have received the invitation but it has not yet been decided whether Sartaj Aziz will go to New Delhi on August 23 or not.
