LAYYAH (Dunya News) – Devastated flood in River Indus has continued demolishing villages, crops and houses whereas authorities have also issued flood warning after water level raised in Loralai, Dunya News reported on Thursday.
As per details, River Indus is in high flood at Chashma as water torrent has reached Chashma Barrage after passing through Kalabagh.
Flood water has completely destroyed areas of Kallur Kot, Gumbat, Layyah, Shahwal, Rajanpur, Dera Ghazi Khan, Muzaffargarh, Rahim Yar Khan, Liaquatpur and Sadiqabad.
On the other hand, water has been entered into as many as 15 villages of Larkana whereas National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has sounded sirens to warn the locals of adjoining areas of Loralai regarding possible water torrent.
