Summary Malik Riaz’s Principal Security Officer Colonel(R) Khalil has filed applications against suspects

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Cases were registered against 3 suspects on Wednesday in their alleged involvement in blackmailing owner of Bahria Town, Malik Riaz, reported Dunya News.

The hearing of the case began under additional session judge Raja Khurram Ali Khan. Advocate Babar Awan said that his client, Malik Riaz, had been blackmailed by Col(R) Tariq, Col(R) Khalid and Doctor Shafiq for 5 crore rupees and now the aforementioned person were demanding more money.

Applications have been filed by Malik Riaz’s Principal Security Officer Colonel(R) Khalil in Lohi police station however cases have not been registered.

Babar Awan plead to the court that cases be registered against the persons under clauses of terrorism, extortion and ransom. The court has ordered that cases be registered against the two retired army officers and the doctor.
