Summary Relief and rescue operations by Pakistan Army are continuing in different areas
CHITRAL (Dunya News) – Death toll in the district and adjoining areas on Friday has reached to at least 11 in destruction caused by floods.
According to details, as many as 13 connective bridges are destroyed while at least three highways flooded. At least three schools and as many as eight mosques have been damaged in the floods.
However, Natural Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has provided at least seven ton ration to the affected families in Chitral.
Reportedly, at least 200 houses have been demolished in Chitral. Separately, several areas in Kalash Valley and Ganche have lost land connections with other parts.
Relief and rescue operations by Pakistan Army are continuing in different areas. The army is distributing medicines, quilts, ration and other necessary items to the affected families.
