Summary Rs 11 lakh along with receipts have also been recovered from their custody
LAHORE (Dunya News) – The Anti-Terrorism Court on Thursday remanded seven persons belonging to the banned terrorist organization Jaish Muhammad into custody for collecting charity through an alias Al-Rehmat Trust, Dunya News reported.
According to details, the action against those collecting charities for the banned outfit was taken on direction of the Counter Terrorism Department Regional Officer Lahore.
During the raids, seven people including chief of Jaish Muhammad’s Lahore chapter Rana Shahid Maqbool and Akhtar Hussain Muawiya were arrested from Gulshan Ravi and Town Ship areas of Lahore.
At least eleven lakh rupees have been recovered from the suspects’ custody while the receipts of the same have also been found.
The suspects were presented before the Anti-Terrorism court after cases were registered against them under Anti-Terrorism Act.
