Summary Security officers denied all the allegations and termed the demise of Atif as natural.
FAISALABAD (Dunya News) – An accused died in police custody due to alleged torture today (Wednesday) in Faisalabad, Dunya News reported.
Sargodha Road police apprehended a 28-year-old Atif in a suspicion of being robber few days back. The suspect was shifted to the Allied Hospital due to bad health last night where he died.
The bereaved family claimed that police brutally tortured him and killed him. The relatives further demanded stern action against the investigation team.
On the other hand, security officers denied all the allegations and termed the demise of Atif as natural.
