Summary MQM chief announced to stage a sit-in outside CM House

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain on Tuesday said that Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah and Members of Provincial Assembly (MPAs) should pass bill against ‘oppressive’ Rangers if they consider Sindh their ‘motherland’, Dunya News reported.

In a telephonic address to members of the administrative wings of the party, Altaf Hussain said that CM Sindh and MPAs should either stop calling Sindh their ‘motherland’ or if they consider Sindh as their motherland then they should legislate against “oppressive Rangers that oppress people on the loving and peaceful land of Shah Latif”.

Altaf Hussain said that Rangers have said in their press release that they will arrest MQM sector incharges and unit incharges, adding that neither CM Sindh nor the judiciary have taken any notice on this press release.

MQM chief said MQM will stage ‘peaceful’ sit-in outside the CM House to demonstrate against ‘state oppression’, arrests, torture, and extrajudicial killings. He said that Raabta Committee will soon announce the date of this sit-in.
