Summary Kids were served with substandard food; Zamarrud Khan says laboratory tests will be conducted
ISLAMABAD: (Dunya News) – Pakistan Sweet Homes’ kids on Sunday suffered from food poisoning and several of them had to be rushed to hospitals as substandard meal was served to them in breakfast. Pakistan Sweet Homes’ Patron-in-chief Zamarrud Khan said that laboratory tests of the meal will be conducted, reported Dunya News.
Pakistan Sweet Homes’ kids had the breakfast on Sunday morning and most of them immediately started to feel unwell. They were rushed to PIMS, Polyclinic and Holy Family Hospital in Rawalpindi as the matters went worse. Kids told that they just had bread and milk in breakfast.
Zamarrud Khan told that the kids are now feeling better. He said, however, that the food will not be served to the kids from here on before proper check.
On the other hand, PIMS spokesperson Dr. Ayesha Esaani told that some of the kids will have to be admitted in the hospital.
Sweet Homes administration said that they try their best to provide the finest quality of food to the children but extreme weather and humidity may have caused the children to suffer from food poisoning.
