KARACHI (Dunya News) – Rangers Spokesperson on Sunday issued a statement saying that the on-going operation in Karachi is only directed against criminals. The Spokesperson for Rangers stated that the operation was not against any political or religious party but is targeted only at militant wings of these parties. He further stated that the Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s (MQM) organizational committee is involved in managing its militant wing. He stated that this was the reason why MQM’s sector and unit in-charges are being arrested.
The Spokesperson for Rangers stated that many members of MQM are giving themselves up for arrest as well.
He further stated that all arrested individuals will be presented in court and complete legal rights will be given to them.
