Summary MQM is being pushed to the wall in the name of Karachi Operation, says Dr. Farooq Sattar
KARACHI: (Dunya News) – Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Rabita Committee has on Saturday warned that forcing the party out of the national level politics wouldn’t have good consequences. Dr. Farooq Sattar said that MQM is being pushed to the wall in the name of Karachi Operation. He said that MQM is being crippled as thousands of its workers have been arrested, reported Dunya News.
Talking to a press conference after Rabita Committee’s meeting today, Farooq Sattar said that unannounced ban is being imposed on MQM’s charity and political activities. He said that provincial government’s silence proves that Chief Minister Sindh is fully onboard.
Farooq Sattar said that Karachi Operation is against Khidmat-e-Khalq Foundation (KKF), not terrorists. “If people took matters into their hands, MQM and its chief Altaf Hussain wouldn’t be responsible”, he warned. He demanded that the DG Rangers and those in power must take notice of the incidents. He said that Prime Minister will be held accountable; on Judgment Day if not here.
