Summary The Ministry for Water and Power has been notified regarding new tariffs.
ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – The National Electric Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) has increased tariff of coal-based power projects before electricity generation from imported coal, Dunya News reported on Saturday.
According to Nepra officials, tariff of 220 megawatt project has been increased by Rs1.04 per unit to reach Rs9.29 from Rs 8.25 per unit.
Tariff of 350 megawatt project has reached Rs9.27 from Rs8.17 with increase of Rs1.10 per unit.
Similarly, 660 megawatt project will cost Rs9.21 per unit with increase of Rs1.20.
Nepra has also raised tariff of 1,099 megawatt project by Rs1.11. The tariff now stands at Rs8.78 per unit.
The power regulatory authority has notified the Ministry of Water and Power regarding its decision.
