ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – In a latest key development, special team of Pakistani Interior Ministry probing Imran Farooq murder case has met Scotland Yard’s delegate in London during which important information and developments of the case were exchanged, Dunya News reported on Saturday.

The Pakistani team led by Senior Superintendant of Police (SSP) Islamabad Sajid Kayani held a special meeting with Scotland Yard’s authorities and handed over evidence to them and also provided vital information regarding detained suspects in Pakistan.

Sources report that Pakistani team also shared crucial evidence with the British authorities regarding money laundering case against Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain who has to appear before the court in the second week of the ongoing month.

In this context, this meeting between both the authorities is being considered significant.

Sources also reveal that both the counterparts also discussed about the exchange of suspects.

On the other hand, SSP Sajid Kayani attended a function in Walthom Forest in which he was presented with a memorial shield.
