LAHORE (Dunya News) – Hearing of the case against deployment of Director Hajj Jeddah Rafay Bashir was adjourned till July 6 today (Wednesday), Dunya News reported.
According to details, the hearing was headed by Lahore High Court’s (LHC’s) judge Justice Ayesha A.Malik.
Petitioner’s lawyer Azhar Siddiqui adopted the stance that Director Hajj Jeddah’s contract was extended after his tenure completion which is an illegal step as he is accused of corruption therefore; his contract should be cancelled.
The court questioned the public prosecutor that why was the extension granted despite of corruption charges.
The court also summoned reply from federal government till July 6 in this regard.
