KARACHI (Dunya News) – Residents face severe problems due to power outage in various areas of Karachi which occurred as a result of technical errors, Dunya News reported on Monday.
Most of the areas plunged into darkness for four to five hours.
Different regions of Federal-B area, Labour Square and Sher Shah in Site area, sector-15 of Buffer zone, few areas of Old city, Lines area, Gulshan Iqbal, Quaid-e-Azam colony, North Karachi, Sarjani and various areas of Baldia Town were affected by the non-availability of electricity.
Besides this, power cut also led to shortage of water.
According to K-Electric spokesman, work to restore power in the affected areas is in process.
