KARACHI (Web Desk) – Traders in Karachi have rejected the Sindh Chief Minister’s directives to shut markets by 9:00pm to deal with ongoing energy crisis amid sweltering heat, Dunya News reported.
Attiq Mir, the Chairman of All Karachi Traders Association said this decision is unacceptable as the businesses are at peak during Ramazan and ahead of Eid.
He said the government must consult traders to find out a solution of this issue.
On the other hand, the Chief Minister has also directed that air conditioners at government offices should be switched on at 11:00am while street lights to be switched on leaving after each.
