PTI announces to hold intra-party polls after LB election

Summary Party's CEC Tasneem Nawaz would announce the final date of polling after Eid.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Sunday has decided to hold intra-party polls after local bodies election, Dunya News reported.

According to details, PTI has already adopted an interim set up under the supervision of Justice Wajih-ud-Din by dissolving the party organizational system as per election tribunal’s order.

Now, the leadership of PTI has decided to hold intra-party election according to the new mandate for which an inspection process of as many as 70 lac voters is underway.

A central office of party’s election commission has also been arranged in Islamabad to monitor all the activities. General (retd) Taj from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and Feroz Khan from Sindh have been appointed as provincial CEC.

Moreover, party’s Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Tasneem Nawaz would announce the final date of polling after Eid.
