LAHORE (Dunya News) - Opposition members of Punjab Assembly boycotted the house proceedings today (Wednesday) and staged a walk-out against Model Town incident, Dunya News reported.
The members protested strongly against the Model Town incident in the leadership of opposition leader Mian Mehmood-ur-Rasheed.
They also chanted slogans and came on Mall Road while removing barriers at the entrance of the assembly.
The members were of the view that the government has adopted such policies through which no one can get justice.
They said that Model Town incident can be prevented if the government had wanted such thing.
The members stated that government has destroyed the system by politically interfering in every department.
Opposition leader said that since ever Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has assumed the office, every department has collapsed.
Furthermore, he vowed to raise voice against every matter which is against constitution and law.
