LAHORE (Web Desk/Dunya News) – Session of Moon sighting Committee will convene on Wednesday to confirm the sighting of moon. Met department has quoted likelihood of moon sighting on Wednesday as well, reported Dunya News.
Moon sighting committee will hold its session today.
Chairman of Moon sighting committee will announce whether moon has been sighted or not.
Meteorological Department has said age of the moon will be 24 hours 44 minutes while in Quetta, it will be 25 hours 3 minutes old.
Met Department said that the difference between sun setting and rise of moon will be 38 minutes while there must be a difference of 40 minutes old to sight the moon by naked eye.
According to Met, moon of Ramazan may be sighted tomorrow due to clear skies, however the chances of sighting are less.
