ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Federal Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar on Tuesday said that Director General (DG) Rangers’ report should not be made controversial, adding that he hopes Sindh government will implement recommendations, Dunya News reported.
Talking to the media, Nisar said that Rangers’ presence in Karachi is a sign of confidence. He said murderers of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Imran Farooq will be brought to justice soon.
The federal minister said that peace was established in Karachi with the efforts of the police and Rangers. He said the DG Rangers did not say anything beyond the scope of law.
Chaudhry Nisar said hiding issues behind political statements is not service to the nation. He said that no recommendation of replacing Governor Sindh is under consideration.
He said the cooperation with the British police in Imran Farooq murder case is ongoing and that the murderers will be brought to justice soon.
