LAHORE (Dunya News) – Punjab Assembly on Wednesday approved a resolution condemning Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s statements and recommending the center to prepare an effective strategy, Dunya News reported.

According to details, a resolution was passed unanimously by the government and the opposition in which Indian Prime Minister’s statements against Pakistan were termed shameless. The resolution demanded the center to take the national leadership into confidence and to prepare an effective strategy.

The House also approved a resolution showing solidarity with Myanmar’s Rohingya Muslims in which world’s ‘silence’ in this regard was termed ‘regrettable’.

The resolution recommended that the federal government should raise this issue at a global stage.

In another resolution, assembly’s slain member Chaudhry Shamshad’s services were acknowledged.

The House also talked about the chopper being used by Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif. It was told that over 30 lakh rupees are being spent on CM’s helicopter.
