Summary Traffic flow on the Mall has severely suffered in the last two days due to the protest

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Blind people on Wednesday have continued their protest on third day outside the Punjab Assembly seeking increase in differently-abled people’s employment quota and turning temporary employees to permanent job-holders.

Earlier, the government had vowed to meet their demands however, the special people have started protest demonstrations again after a period of time as the government did not keep its word.

On June 8, the protesters conducted a rally outside the press club and marched towards the assembly. Upon failing to enter the assembly premises, the protesters demonstrated a sit-in at Chairing Cross.

Traffic flow on the Mall has severely suffered in the last two days due to the protest.
