LAHORE (Dunya News) – Chief Minister of Punjab (CM) Shahbaz Sharif on Tuesday has termed China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) as vital to the region’s progress.
While talking at the ceremony in Lahore, CM Punjab stated that the visit of Chinese president Xi Jinping has created a new history.
He said that the previous government has failed to utilize the China relations in a positive sense but the government of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has given new dimension to Pak-China friendship.
CM Punjab expressed that Pakistan-China friendship is more than the marked boundaries as it’s between two nations without following the barrier of borders.
He further vowed to stand by the China at any cost.
CPEC is a gift from Chinese investors for Pakistan, we should employ it for the development of the country, he added.
Moreover, Shahbaz Sharif invited the political leaders to be united for nation’s progress.
