RAWALPINDI: (Dunya News) – Relatives of the 2 police victims who had been killed on Saturday night by Rawalpindi police have on Sunday put the dead bodies of the deceased and blocked the Express Highway. Protesters staged sit-in by putting the bodies on the roads, raised slogans and threw stones at the police, reported Dunya News.

According to the details, relatives of the deceased blocked the road and long queues of cars were observed on this occasion. Traffic got blocked even on service roads but the relatives of the deceased refused to remove the dead bodies from the road.

SSP Operations Malik Karamat tried to negotiate with the protesters but they refused to talk. Protesters started to pelt stones at the police upon which SSP Operations left.

After several hours, the protesters offered the funeral prayer and called the protest off.
