Summary PTI workers staged a protest against the budget.
(Web Desk) – Majority of the people in Pakistan have rejected the federal budget announced for the fiscal year 2015-16, Dunya News reported on Saturday.
The people said that the current budget has not given them relief. They said that the taxes on impoverished people have increased while those on the industrialists have been decreased.
They further said that the salaries of employees have not been raised in ratio of hiked prices of different items.
They demanded the government to increase salaries by at least 20 percent to 30 percent while the least pay should be set at Rs 15,000.
The nation condemned the performance of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) government as the leaders have failed to lessen the prices of flour and electricity and termed it according to the directives of International Monetary Fund (IMF).
On the other hand, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Saturday has demonstrated a protest against the budget terming it the “elitist budget”.
The protesters blocked Bosan Road. A large number of party workers gathered at the Chungi number six and held placards and banners against the ruling party. The protesters also raised slogans.
Not only general masses but the prominent leaders have also echoed negative reactions to the budget.

Unemploymnt rose only by 1% from 5.2% to 6.2% in AZardari govt, & now by 2.1% in 2 yrs of PMLN That is why I say its not a poor man s budget
